Shihui says im not fierce enough to the juniors. Err.. no offense but i dont think the juniors would like being to have commands barked at them or get reprimanded just for not being able to play. They'd really hate coming for practice if that happened. Dont see a point in being fierce unneccassarily.

Wow, i shall have to thank jingkai for teaching me how to pao gong. Mr Chua wanted to see whether we could do it and i really had no darn idea how it was done then i saw him doing it and asked him to demonstrate. must be his big actions or something, cos i didnt seem to be able to learn it from shihui before. apparently, hes quite a patient person, explaning to me and stuff. didnt really manage to play it properly in front of everyone, but hey, i only got the hang of it a few minutes before so i guess its not so bad.
Got harrassed by clarrissa into going to yewtee cc. went there and well... felt extra o.o Joyce didnt come along. )))= Clarrissa went there and was so shy even though she was the one who kept bugging me to go there. She. Can. Be. Shy. Amazing. There she was making remarks about a certain *ahem* being so good-looking while i just gave her the -O.o- look. Today didnt seem as fun as last week. Must be the really really slow song at the end that had me stoning for ages.

Oh my. Got the full marks (highest in class heh) for the surprise chemistry quiz. Finally realise how hard the rest of my class studies since i wasnt even prepared for the test. So much for the i-didnt-study-leh's Man, i'm gonna be as kiasu as them and start studying for my tests. Heh ((((((((((((((=

Oh lord. Bogged down by homework for the past week. Have four tests next week. Remedial everyday except tuesday. Bloody Hell. No wonder my mom says she isn't seeing enough of me lately. My junior's quite good at playing. BUT, she keeps playing the scores meant for erhu I, and we dont have fridays to teach the sec1s cos of full orchestra so theres no way i can correct her. oh man. it'll be ultra weird if erhu II is asked to play and out comes an erhu I. Oh well, not to matter, think she'll manage since she sidereads really fast. The thing that's gonna be hard to teach is the direction of her bowing.

Some teachers really have style. This relief teacher barged into class today and hurled his book onto the teacher's desk. Damn was it stylish.

Met clarrissa and joyce for dinner at Long John Silver's. Saw this guy who looked vaguely familiar. Suddenly remembered that he was the guy who blew the sheashell-thingie at bukit batok cc. Clarrissa was talking about her prefectorial stuff when i suddenly buddenly blurted out 'Eh, isnt that the guy from bbcc?' really loudly. was really embarrassed, tried hiding my face behind my fork. After that, went popular to get my dad a present. got him the cheapest parker pen i could find (yeah yeah i know im a cheapo) and rushed to the mrt station. Joyce was trying to get us to sing feng nian ji on the bus 0.o
The auditorium at yuhua was really dark. kinda brings out the claustrophobic in you. sat through the concert with joyce complaining about the songs being slower than when she had practiced it. saw this really cool erhu with a carved head.
Really couldnt stand this erhu guy sitting behind mr chua. darn act-pro. everyone was playing this song and he just stopped halfway to tune his instrument. no tai feng at all. eEk. when the guzheng soloist was playing, he seemed to have this look of contempt on his face. Even joyce and clarrissa couldnt stand him. wahahaha.
Lian zhou was really fun, the scco people were going 'hu' and 'ha' heehee. I feel cheated! their version seemed to be simpler than ours 0.0
Fen yong wasnt violent enough for me, but it was still nice (((=

Anyhoo remedial on Friday was a total bore. We just got this silly worksheet to complete and the teacher walked out. Got bored halfway and went up to where the strings were practising. Came back and found that mr mak had come back. oOps! oh well. he didnt say anything though, so no big. Left halfway through on the pretext that i had CCA. Darn, shouldve done that much earlier.
Went up and sat there for awhile cos all the juniors were being taught. Then shuhui asked me to teach xueli and wanxin fei tian, the part played by erhu I. i was like 'err... ive never played that before...' taught them how to play abit anyway. erhu I sounds so much more melodious than erhu II, especially in xixun. ))))=
A short while later (and i really do mean a short while) shihui dragged me over to help teach jasmine and sophia. Compared to xueli and wanxin, they were oh-so quiet. We decided to split up and shihui taught sophia and i taught jasmine. Jasmine was a really fast learner, was quite easy teaching her. all i had to do was sing (sing? me?) out the tune for her and play the parts and she got it. she doesnt even have musical background too. like whoah, shes kinda good.
Went down to find yiting during break to do the noticeboard thingie. Most of the pictures were quite blur )))= We managed to finished it in about half an hour with help from joyce and joson (((((= oh did i mention that joson is much more of a nuisance than help? heehee just kidding xP

Saturday
Was an interesting day today. the sec1s got grouped into the different sections. my junior xueli went to erhu I wahhhhhh ))))= hehh oh well nvm she deserves to go there, shes really quite nice though she likes to complain a lot xP
Got this new junior, wing san, was kinda confused cos i remember she told me her name was yong-something-or-another last time. shall ask her about it sometime. shes quite good, shes really really meticulous about her ying zun. its quite tiring to teach her scales though cos she really makes sure she gets all the notes right and she'll keep playing the particular note endlessly to get it right. she really makes an effort to remember all the notes, unlike some of the other juniors (okie, so im being mean). Really wonder if it because she shy or shes just rude, cos she hardly looks at me when i speak to her, and when i do, she doesnt seem to hear. have to tap her arm to get her attention. she only really looked at me during the last half an hour of practice. think its cos shes shy. hmm...
Think shihui had a hard time with jasmine, cos jasmine didnt play much, which is odd cos she played really well the day before but she couldnt play during sectionals. thats odd, you'd think it would be easier to gloss over your mistakes when playing in a group as opposed to when you're playing 1-on-1 /=
Were taught to use make the bow 'jump'. Kah hwee and i were like 'huh??' throughout the whole thing. think i was just whacking the reasonant box of my erhu the whole time through. shall ask shihui to teach me on tuesday since she knows how t do it already ((((= coolness, how come my dad cant play the erhu?? xP
Oh well enough of my incessant crap, i havent even touched my homework and it 9+ gosh, im gonna fail my exams again if i continue like this .______.

Definition of Lor-itis:
The unstoppable usage of lors in one's everyday speech. usually ends every sentence.
i.e.
A: *Shriek* Omg! That guy damn shuai lor!!

You get the idea.
And no offense to the people stricken with Lor-itis, but i think the use of such language is just crude. As much i like Singlish, ending every single sentence with lor's is just too much for me. It get's extremely irritating when you converse with someone that is a lor-spouting machine. Heck, even teachers are getting influenced by it.
Why're people neglecting all the lah's and the leh's? Most of all, why am i saying all this crap when i've also been infected by it?? .___________.

I can't even get into a taxi without injuring myself. Went for cross-country today. Took a taxi there with Joyce and Clarrissa. As i was getting into it, my left ankle just whacked into the side of the cab -___________-
Something is seriously wrong with the coordination among my limbs. Now my ankle feels like it just got whacked about like a fish.

Cross country must be the most meaningless event ever. Why force people to do something when they're not interested? There're a million things i couldve done during the time spent running strolling at the cross country. The most interesting part of the whole thing mustve been the terraphin in the water. i HATE monkeys. We mightve evolved from them, but as far as im concerned, they just annoy me to no end.

Even though red house won (and im from it) i really think they should allow people who arent interested to go first. They could always do it in the school hall. For once, we should have a prize presentation, then end the assembly. Now i know many people would like that.


Lesson with Mr Yoong today was hilarious. We were going through sentence structures. There was this particular sentence "Suddenly, I felt something poked me, it was a guy."
The sentence was meant to be "Suddenly, i felt a sharp object pushed against my back. (Isnt it being pushed?) I turned around with great trepidation and saw a guy. (so much for not using an informal tone. Isnt it supposed to be man?)"
Everyone burst into laughter at that sentence (the wrong sentence, not the corrected one). Mr Yoon then said "I know what you all are trying to say in your composition, but please phrase it the right way. This sounds scandalous.
AHAHAHAAAAA. xDDDDDD
For a guy who says "deep in thought" should be "deep in thoughts", he sure is funny. Oh and he keeps telling us to "call a spade a spade" and be "politically correct". Now that's something which is hard.
Somehow, i have a feeling that his English isnt very powerful. In fact, it should be described as powderful. Oh btw, can someone please tell me whether it's supposed to be "in deep thought" or "in deep thoughts"? Im still a bit bothered by that.

Oh man. I need to go for Chinese remedial, and it's on friday, which means it clashes with CO. Arghh... As nice (and jolly) as Mr Mak is, attending extra lessons when i can be at CO just irks me. BIG TIME. The only way i can get out of the damn thing? Pass my chinese tests. And noooo, it's not the simple-easy-to-cheat ting xie's. It's those hour-long ce yan's for Christ Sakes. Can barely remember a whole chapter of Chinese, now i need to remember 3/4 chapters. OMG. Im seriously gonna stone in his class by myself. The chances of Meryl and Vanessa going are like... ZILCH. Liew, maybe i should be kiasu and study in advance.
