All this controversy surrounding television programmes aired in Singapore, what a load of bull. We complain that Singaporean viewers prefer unintellectual television programmes. Well to hell with that. Why all the fuss now when we've already been subjected to so many seasons of 'Phua Chu Kang'?

Anyhoo, life is so unexpected. My dad's acquaintancefriend (only given that title by my dad after passing away. Odd.) just passed away. And you guessed it, it was cancer. now i'm not gonna go on about that crap about having to spot cancer early (unlike a certain television serial) I really have no idea who that guy was but it just seems sad that a young guy (ok, so maybe 50+ isn't that young) can kick the bucket just like that. Death seems to bring out the hypocriteemotions in many people though. I've seen so many people sad after someone died even though they hardly speak to them in real life. Some blame it on the busy society we live in today. I don't think so.
