The CCa recruitment drive was boring. Boring, boring, boring. We didn't really have to bring so many erhus there cos we didn't even have to play anything. We were only required to drag the sec1s to our booth. The band was so grand, marching in and having people sing. But their songs got boring during the second half of the first day. The costume worn by the chinese dance was nice, but rather amusing it made them look like a row of asparagus. The only bearable part was the malay dance's modern dance which made use of missy elliot's 'lose control'.
While i was wandering around the hall watching members of the performing arts CCA pounce the poor, unsuspecting sec1s, this sec3 girl suddenly approached me and asked
"Do you want to take a look at choir?"
Of course, i was most amused by this, and started giggling madly, and Joyce asked her whether she would like to have a look at the CO's booth. One of them who was sharper suddenly noticed that this sec1 of hers had low socks and a shirt which was half untucked (not to mention fringe which most definitely did not belong on a sec1s head).
Okay, so I am short, but i most certainly do not think that I look like a sec1. Hmphh.


Ms Xu asked me to decorate the noticeboard for Chinese New Year. Just in case you have been blind for the past few months you haven't noticed, the noticeboard has been looking extremely pathetic due to the fact that both yiting and I are extremely uncreative. Went to Popular to buy the materials. I was most appalled when Clarrissa and Joyce suggested that we use red, orange and yellow. As if the CCA Chinese Orchestra doesn't make you think "Ooooo, cheena-dom!!" That colour scheme is so gonna resemble the logo of a certain bah kwa company in Singapore. Decided break away from tradition and use yellow and tan (both metallic). Couldn't find a tan-coloured vangard though, so I had to settle for this orange background and a metallic yellow (gold actually border). OhMyGoodness, that so does not match. Luckily i found some red packets at home which were almost the shade of tan. Haven't actually thought of how to decorate the board though.


Was caught by Mdm Tang today cos of my fringe, so i had to clip them up. After clipping them up, Vanessa suddenly exclaimed that I looked cute & girly.
...... OHMYGOODNESS.
I think the word cute really cannot be used to describe me, and most definitely not the word girly. And believe me, she wasn't the only one who gave that comment. Only Clarrissa said i looked stupid. Hell, she's just jealous that I'm more cute & girly than she is =DDDDDD Naw i'm just kidding.
But seriously, I looked quite alright. It was only after recess, during biology that the puny clips couldn't hold up my curtains-for-fringes and everything tumbled down. Then I looked like some disheveled punk. That carried on till CO when i got kinda annoyed by the strands of hair tickling me so i took them off.
Oh, and i absolutely DETEST the chapter on eyeballs. It is so boring. Though i would really love to do the practical and cut up the eye of a sheep/cow?? =)))) Yes, i am a morbid person.
Mrlee forgot to practice the NewYear songs with us. OhMyGoodness. So we're gonna practice it thia friday. OH GREAT. Now i've to stay back after CO to decorate the noticeboard. Bah.


Wanted to blog about Project Runway, but it's late and I have to sleep cos i have to wake up early tomorrow to copy homework and like they say, the early bird catches the worm. Pah, since when was I into such mumbo-jumbo. Bleagh.
