Okaye, so i had my first lesson with Ulrike(pronounced, Oool-ree-kay) last friday. She arrived at my doorstep, and the first thing she did was ramble about her medicinal stockings and such. Not yet used to her strong German accent, i just smiled and nodded, pretending i understood. Suddenly, she whipped out a pair of bright purple stockings from her bag, and wore them over her stockings, all the while announcing that the stockings were expensive. The lesson was alright, fun(Spaß!) in fact. We had a little exercise at the end of the lesson and since I'm taking conversational german, we practised errr..conversing.
That''s the grade of the current j2 erhu players in ACCO, and I'm trying to appeal in. When i don't even have a grade. Whoopee whee. No wonder whatever they played was pitch-perfect. Methinks their band of 8players are louder than SCCO's 20+strong strings section. Oh dear. Nowhowamisupposedtogetin.
I can't believe I'm saying this, BUT. I love the dance learnt today, because it's disco. And i love 70's disco. WHOO. Saturday Night Fever! *cue in finger pointing and hip gyrating. Sexaye. The best part is, there isn't any contact required between partners, therefore, no groin smacking. You damn sicko's, so excited over my little booboo. I so do not enjoy smacking other people's bits okay. Ya'll are just jealous.(:
I have three.
And i'm reminded of the fact that i'm socially-inept, from the fact that i spent the whole day at PJ, and didn't make a single new friend, choosing instead to hang about with Swiss people. So while the other people were (forced t because they had no schoolmates there) making friends, i stood at one side and stuck with Caroline. Oh dear. It's not my fault i find it hard initiate a conversation. I just can't stand small talk. I did try on one occasion, but it failed miserably.
