Six Ladies and a Man.
That's the name Mr Shashi gave our group since the only name we came up with was Sushi. Before you close this window and call me nuts, I shall explain.
We were supposed to come up with a modified/totally new game for PE lessons. My group was kinda quiet so i ended up crapping with Jasmine and Jacqueline. In the end, we had this weird idea of having a game similar to captain's ball, except we we going to use a tennis ball......and the goalkeeper was supposed to use a cone to catch the ball, contributed by your's truly. Running four rounds make me give nonsensical suggestions. Nevertheless, we decided to get over with it and use that idea.
We had demonstrations from two groups yesterday.
The game by the first group was almost like captain's ball except we were supposed to let the ball rebound against the ground before our teamates could catch the ball. How troublesome.
The second game was quite fun
Obviously, many people have not passed a ball that way before because when the game started, most of us were throwing, kicking, whacking, dodging the ball with alacrity, and to everyone's amusement, hurling the ball high up in the air but not sending it in any particular direction. Thankfully, i wasn't one of those even though I've never played volleyball before.
After that game, i finally realised what Jasmine meant when she said the capillaries on her wrist burst during a previous game; my wrist hurt like hell.
Anyhoo, the sec1s came today for sectionals. I was assigned to this girl called joanna/joanne(??). She was quite nice, and was easy to teach beacause of her music background(piano). Found out that she listens to English music. Yay. And she knows Franz Ferdinand. Double Yay.
After awhile, we were supposed to pass our juniors to the sec2s. Don't know what the reason was, maybe they were slacking? I wasn't paying attention. Anyway a i think kahhwee got a bit annoyed at wanxin because she didn't want to teach a junior and kept moaning and whining. I got very annoyed and decided to get away from her before i blew my top and started getting sarcastic with her. Bah. As if teaching a junior is so hard. Hell, even Jingkai made an effort even though he kept asking me what he should teach. Which brings me to the next part of my post.
He was totally clueless as to what he should teach the sec1 guy and asked me what he should teach. Being as clueless as he was since i didn't have the lian xi qu's, i told him offhandedly to teach him the basics like the different parts of the erhu and stuff like that. AND HE REALLY DID. He even demonstrated how to apply rosin onto the bow of the erhu, which was actually quite hilarious.
Oooo and i think Da Li Qing Feng is a really nice song, as nice as Chun. :)))
